Christian comedian Michael Jr. is a father of five, but he noticed something unusual when he was reviewing the video he took when his youngest daughter was born (video below).
In the video, the newborn is seen crying, until Michael Jr. speaks to her. She then immediately calms down.
When he stops speaking, however, she screams again, and Michael Jr. says, “I love you.” Remarkably, the newborn immediately goes quiet and opens her eyes for the first time.
In the video, Michael explains that he took the interaction as an affirmation of his faith.
"We’ll always have times when we’re not as comfortable … where life is just heavy,” he says. “The key thing to do in those moments is to be still and listen for the Father’s voice. Because he is trying to talk to you. And I can tell you what he wants you to know is that he loves you. All you got to do is open your eyes.”
Aside from being a comedian and a father of five, Michael Jr. has written a children's book called "The Parts We Play," according to his website.
