CNN's Poppy Harlow fainted during a live broadcast on Dec. 28 (video below).
The incident happened while Harlow was reporting on a new poll on American disapproval of how President Barack Obama is fighting the "war on terrorism," notes Mediaite.
"We have this new CNN/ORC poll which is quite a, quite a turnaround in uhh," Harlow said as she drifted off.
CNN cut to a previously aired, year-end countdown segment with Brian Stelter, and then back to Harlow sitting at the news desk.
"For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I'm OK, thank you so much," Harlow said. "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine. We're going to take a quick break and we'll be right back."
Harlow also tweeted: "Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team."
She later added: "Update from the hospital -- our little girl due this spring is doing just fine. Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!"
