July 12 was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A restaurants, which handed out free food to people who dressed like cows.
According to FoxNews.com, free meals were also awarded to people who were partially dressed like a cow or wore cow-like accessories.
"Cow Appreciation Day is the one day where it’s okay to dress 'udderly' crazy and get rewarded for it," Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, stated, according to Fox News.
One person who got "udderly crazy" was reality TV star Josh Duggar, who dressed in a cow print shirt and went to a Chick-fil-A in Rogers, Arkansas.
According to Inquisitr, a picture of Josh (with sunglasses on, to the left of the cow), his wife Anna, their children, Duggar siblings and friends was posted on July 12. Sierra Jo Dominguez, who has planned parties for the Duggars, including gender reveal events, posted the photo on Instagram.
Josh went through a series of scandals in 2015, including sexual molestation of siblings and adultery. He has kept a low profile after completing rehab for sex addiction and leaving his job at the pro-Christian Family Research Council in Washington D.C.
The Duggers received encouraging comments from Instagram users:
"So happy to see Josh and Anna!"
"Happy to see Josh and Anna! Always praying for them!"
"For the Josh & Anna haters ... Its about what makes Anna happy not what makes us happy. Its not our world its theirs, its not our marriage its theirs, not our life but theirs if they are happy then i am happy for them. No single relationship or person is without fault, so let them deal with their issues and keep your 'opinions' in your own lane."
Inquisitr notes that the Duggar family also took advantage of a free food offer from Krispy Kreme, and Jessa Duggar Seewald, Josh's sister, has said on her blog that their parents used food giveaways at restaurants to feed their 19 kids.
