A camper wrote an amusing letter home to his parents after being required by staff.
The letter, written by a boy named Josh, explained that he was forced to write home after the first week as part of a requirement for all campers.
“Dear mom,” the letter read. “I was forced to write this to eat. Love, Josh.”
Readers on Reddit responded to the post, telling their own stories of similar camp requirements.
“I would just send black postcards that were already pre[-]addressed and stamped,” one reader wrote. "I was 12. When I got older I didn't even bother to write."
