Bill Cosby turned himself into the Montgomery County courthouse in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 30 after being charged with second-degree aggravated indecent assault (video below).
The 78-year-old comedian, who is accused of assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004, pleaded not guilty and posted 10 percent of his $1 million bail, notes USA Today.
Cosby has been accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women in the media over the past year, which he has always denied, but this is the first time he has been criminally charged. Cosby surrendered his passport and posed for a mugshot.
While the situation is a serious one and could result in jail time if Cosby is found guilty, Uproxx edited his "perp walk" to the courthouse to the jazzy theme from season four of "The Cosby Show."
As he did in his 1980s TV series, Cosby wore one of his trademark sweaters and made a face, but not the type of mugging grin that made him famous.
