Video: GOP Senator Jim Inhofe Rebukes Rush Limbaugh

Responding to President Obama’s decision to send a small contingent of troops to help Uganda fight the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) guerrillas, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh recently embraced the brutal LRA as valiant Christian warriors who were “fighting the Muslims in Sudan.”

Time magazine reports that the LRA has committed atrocities such as "cutting off children's noses and lips, cutting off the feet of people they catch riding bikes, forcing children to rape and then kill their parents, mass rape, mass forced conscription of children, burning villages, murder, mass murder."

Yesterday, Limbaugh received a rebuke on the Senate floor from Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), who called the controversial radio host “my good friend Rush Limbaugh.”

Using Limbaugh’s and his cohort's name, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), said: “Some people have mistakenly said that (the LRA's leader) is a Christian, and I want to make sure everyone knows that he was officially disavowed by the Catholic Church in Uganda.” He went on to detail their group’s atrocities.

Limbaugh responded to Sen. Inhofe on his radio show, admitting he was “misinformed” about the LRA, but seemed amused about having his name entered into the Congressional record.
