Video: American Family Association Blames Repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' for Accused Pedophile

On his radio show 'Focal Point,' American Family Association Executive Director Bryan Fischer read about the arrest of Air Force Lt. Col. Stephen Michael Governale who allegedly tried to convince a 17-year-old boy to have sex, reports RightWingWatch.org.

Fischer claimed that the attempted pedophilia happened because of the U.S. military's repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'

Fischer said: "We can expect to see more instances of pedophilia now in the United States military. Homosexuals commit sex crimes against children at about ten times the rate of the heterosexual population. There is this proclivity for the abuse of children."

"So now that they are allowed to openly serve and can't be disciplined in any way for what they do, we can now expect more reports of pedophilia in the United States' military because they've got a protected place to serve there."

However, there is no proof that Lt. Col. Governale is a homosexual or that he is "protected."  In fact, he has been arrested and jailed, reports Fox News.
