Mat Staver and Matt Barber of the Liberty Counsel recently blamed President Obama because the anti-gay, pro-birther, anti-health care, anti-science American Family Association was categorized as a hate group in some U.S. military training materials.
According to RightWingWatch.org, Barber began by blaming the Obama administration for "homosexualizing the military" (video below).
But Barber didn't mention the U.S. Senate first voted to repeal the anti-gay "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in 2010 with six Republicans voting in favor of the action, noted the Los Angeles Times.
"The Obama administration is overtly, systemically and systematically displaying hostility towards biblical Christianity and all started by homosexualizing the military," claimed Barber. "Now they want to liberalize the military and ultimately, the end game Matt, and there is no question about it, is to completely secularize the United States military and to push to the fringes those who have a biblical worldview."
Barber also didn't mention that the U.S. military is a secular branch government. not a private religious group.
"We're at a very unusual time in America, Matt, and I think a lot of people have the same feeling, where we can no longer trust our government. We can't trust this administration," added Staver, who failed to mention the lies of previous presidents and administrations.
"President Obama is to freedom the enemy within," added Barber. "He is trying to divide and conquer. He's dividing the American people, dividing the military and seek to conquer it for the secular socialist sociopolitical worldview."
