Pope Benedict's Holocaust Speech Draws Critcism

Pope Benedict embarked on a three-week tour of the Mideast in hopes of fostering goodwill, but so far his mission has met with mixed results. Earlier this week he made the controversial statement that Palestine should have an independent state, and now his comments during a speech at Jerusalem's Holocaust memorial are sparking controversy. Critics are complaining that during his speech Pope Benedict, who was living in Germany during World War II, didn't mention or explicitly apologize for Germany's role in the Holocaust
