Rachel Jackson admitted on Aug. 8 to spray painting a Planned Parenthood building in Columbus, Ohio, on March 7 (video below).
According to WCMH, Jackson wrote the words "SATAN DEN OF BABY KILLERS GOD SEE ALL – MARK 9:42" on the side of the clinic.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said the 71-year-old woman pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, vandalism and aggravated trespass.
During her guilty plea in court, Jackson told Common Pleas Judge Guy L. Reece that she committed the vandalism "because I believe what the Bible says about the little children," reports The Columbus Dispatch.
Mark 9:42 states: "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and he were cast in the sea."
Reece told Jackson in court: "No one wants to belittle your religious beliefs, but the Bible also talks about render unto Caesar that which should be rendered unto Caesar, I believe."
"That's right," Jackson replied.
"All right, so remember all the Bible, not just some of the Bible," Reece added.
As Jackson was leaving the court, she asked Reece, "Do you go to church?" and added, "You read Genesis 1:27-28."
A psychologist found that Jackson has "a serious mental illness," but was competent to appear in court and assist in her defense, according to Reece.
As Jackson was led out of the courtroom by her lawyer, she said, "And I'm not crazy."
Jackson had been free on bond, but was placed under house arrest on May 31 after a prosecutor told Reece that Jackson had gone back to the Planned Parenthood building and planned more vandalism.
The Columbus Dispatch reported that the indictment said Jackson's vandalism caused more than $1,000 in damages.
According to O'Brien, the maximum time in state prison for the offense is two years, as well as six months in a county jail.
