Man Stopped By 'Miracle' Before He Can Stab Priest (Video)

An unidentified man was reportedly stopped by a "miracle" from God when he recently tried to stab a priest in the Pentecostal IPUC Bosa church in Bogota, Colombia (video below).

In the video, the would-be attacker jumps out of his front-row seat, brandishes a knife and approaches the priest, Pedro Pablo Martin, who repeatedly yells in Spanish, "There is power in the name of Jesus!"

The man wanders around for a few seconds before finally collapsing on the floor and going into convulsions.

Churchgoers surround him, and take the weapon away, while the priest continues his chant.

An unidentified witness called the incident a “miracle."

The church placed surveillance video of the incident on YouTube on Jan. 18, prompting some to question if it was a staged event, notes Fox News.

During a radio interview, Martin recalled that the mystery assailant revealed his murder plan earlier: “He told me, ‘I’m here to kill you’ before he attempted to attack me and I told him to calm down, sit down and listen to the rest of my sermon because I didn’t really take him seriously."

“I only realized how serious it was when I saw him come at me with the knife," Martin added. “I know we’ve been accused of faking all this, but it’s just not true.”

Martin went on to say the police searched the man, but freed him because church officials wouldn't press charges.
