In April, the HGTV network announced a new show that would be hosted by two brothers, David and Jason Benham.
The show, called “Flip it Forward," would follow the brothers as they "helped families find a fixer-upper and transform it into the dream home," reported Zap2it.com.
However, since then, information has been trickling out about the brothers and their father, preacher Flip Benham.
David Benham turned out be an anti-gay, pro-life activist much like his father Flip, who leads the abortion-clinic protest group Operation Save America (OSA).
David and his brother Jason led a prayer rally outside of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., in 2012, noted RightWingWatch.org.
It was there, David told Christian radio host Janet Mefferd (audio below) that we needed to stop “homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation” and “demonic ideologies taking our universities and our public school systems.”
David has also led anti-abortion rallies outside of clinics (video below), in which he praises demonstrators for taking a stand at “the gates of hell” and confronting the “altars of Moloch.”
The Anti-Defamation League reported in 2011:
David Benham, Flip Benham's son and an OSA spokesman, called the Islamic center a "den of iniquity," and referred to Muslims as "the enemy attacking" America. Benham, portraying the United States as a Christian nation, also drew this distinction: "The difference between Islam and Christianity: Islam takes life and enslaves it. Christianity lays its life down and sets you free." The day prior to the demonstration, OSA released a statement asserting that seeks to convert Muslims who are "enslaved in the tyrannical bondage of Islam" to Christianity.
