Gunman Kills Seven, Wounds Three at Sikh Temple of Wisconsin

In Oak Creek, Wisconsin, a guman killed four people inside the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, and three outside. He also wounded three more people, including a police officer.

The suspect, whose named was not released, was shot and killed outside the temple by Oak Creek police, who are calling the multiple murders an act of domestic terrorism.

Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt said that one of the wounded is a police officer, who was the first to respond. The officer was not identified, but is said to be a 20 year veteran.

Police Chief Wentlandt said the officer was ambushed by the unidentified gunman, inside the temple. reports that Police Chief Wentlandt said the "heroic actions of officers stopped it from being worse than it is."

According to Fox News, three wounded males, which include the officer, are being treated for gunshot wounds at Froedtert Hospital and are in critical condition.
