Faith2Action president and Christian activist, Janet Porter, recently said the Boy Scouts of America is "allowing these confused children who are sexually attracted to other boys to go camping with your son" (video below).
It is unclear where or when Porter made her comments, but it had to be after the Boy Scouts' National Council voted to allow openly gay scouts on May 23, reported USA Today.
"They have put the homosexual agenda and the funds that come from the corporate donations over the safety of children in their care," Porter said, noted RightWingWatch.org. "If you haven’t heard, while they’re keeping out the homosexual predator scoutmasters, they’re allowing these confused children who are sexually attracted to other boys to go camping with your son in the same tent."
However, Porter failed to mention that the Boy Scouts of America does not allow sexual behavior of any type, according to their website.
"Imagine if we said, 'We're now going to open up the Girl Scouts and allow boys to go camping with them because after all, it's about equality?" Porter said. "Why shouldn't we have equality?' It's absurd and yet that's what's happening."
