Duggars Forbid Adult Daughter To Be Midwife For Unmarried Relative, Says Report

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who star on the TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting," are well-known for their conservative Christian views.

According to a report by RadarOnline.com, an unidentified source claims that Jim Bob and Michelle would not allow their adult daughter Jill Duggar to help Josh Duggar's sister-in-law Susanna Keller give birth to her first child Noelle in 2012 because Susanna was unmarried.

Josh is married to Susanna's sister Anna Duggar, who is expecting her fourth child in July, noted Inquisitr.com.

“Jill was very excited to assist Susanna through the birth,” the unidentified source told RadarOnline.com. “Michelle and Jim Bob, however, wouldn’t let her participate. They thought Jill shouldn’t be exposed to an unmarried mother in that condition.”

Susanna, 22, was reportedly banned from appearing on from "19 Kids and Counting" after she became pregnant in 2012.

EOnline.com noted last year that Jill Duggar, who is married to Derick Dillard, is currently expecting her first baby.

Jill is 23, but would have been at least 20 when she was allegedly told by her parents not to be a midwife to Susanna in 2012.
