James Paine, a father in Temple, Texas, is upset about Satanic images from a Cartoon Network show that he believes was playing at 6 a.m. (video below).
Paine posted images of "666," a pentagram, and an image of a dog on Facebook on May 1 with a caption:
The TV was left on the Cartoon Network from yesterday. This morning I turn it on and in my brief 2 minutes this is what was on. This is on at 6 AM which is a normal time for kids to be up. The video I have is very dirty and i'm astounded this could even be allowed on TV. I have no idea what the name of the show is. The photos are from the credits.
The Friendly Atheist notes that the images were from "Mr. Pickles," a cartoon for adults that airs during the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim time about a demonic pooch, which has been airing since 2014.
Paine was informed of this on Facebook by other people, but was still upset:
I'm not trying to take away your rights to be an adult but when I turned the TV on at 6 AM the video shows what I saw. You can see the clock in the background. Where is the limit at? When do we say enough is enough? Is this something you want your kids to see when they're getting ready for school? You don't have to answer the questions, I'm just trying to make a point and draw a line somewhere.
Joe Biggs did a report on "Mr. Pickles" for conspiracy website InfoWars.com in September 2014:
This is a tool they're gonna use to promote Satanism so people watching it are gonna think it's cool. It's an easy way to drop some subliminal messages while promoting this murderous, abortion-type agenda that they have.
Biggs said most of the messages were obviously woven into the show, but added there were even more secret messages about the Illuminati.
Biggs freeze-framed the opening on a pyramid with an "all-seeing eye," the supposed sign of the Illuminati.
Biggs also played some "Mr. Pickles" audio backwards, which amounted to: "I love you very much, and I hope you have a nice day."
"So Satan is telling the people that he loves them, and wants them to have a nice day," Biggs concluded.
In another instance of back-masking, Biggs said that Mr. Pickles was telling a bear: "Beauty is not important. I must have you."
Biggs pointed out more Satanic images -- pentagrams and "666" -- in the cartoon about the demonic dog.
Biggs also warned of a pentagram that flashed over the text "Give your soul to Mr. Pickles" in the shows' bumpers.
