Some Christians are trying to link "political correctness" to the London terrorist attacks (video below).
CBN News reporter Dale Hurd mentioned "political correctness" and the unnamed "left" during a conversation with Pat Roberston on "The 700 Club" June 5, reports Right Wing Watch:
Even after this attack, you see the response from the left, talking as if they're going to carry on as usual. They can't carry on as usual. Things have to change, but the left talks as if more people are going to have to die before something is done, because political correctness is so important to them, it’s a core faith for them.
Robertson asked Hurd to define "political correctness," and Hurd said it was "a veneration of Islam" by the "left":
This barbaric religion, the left views as better than western civilization because there is so much self-hatred of the West. The West now, in Britain and in Europe, is a hollowed-out tree. There’s no vigor in it. It’s as if they want to hand over their society to barbarians from Asia.
Evangelist Franklin Graham also linked political correctness, along with entire religion of Islam, to the London attacks on Facebook on June 4:
Since 9/11, I have been warning America about the dangers of the teachings of Islam. Followers of Islam are taught very troubling passages that encourage them to murder and maim those they refer to infidels, or nonbelievers. With the internet and social media, radicalization is only increasing -- and the dangers are continuing to increase.
Many times, sadly, it is the young who are pulled into these teachings that encourage murder and rape in the name of the god of Islam. We saw the results again Saturday night in London with 7 killed and more than 48 wounded by Muslim men who said this was for Allah. That is three Islamic terror attacks in the country in less than three months. The threat of Islam is real. The threat of Islam is serious.
The threat of Islam is dangerous. There is cause for concern, despite what some may say. We need to pray that God would give our President, our Congress, and our Senate wisdom -- and the guts to do what is right for our nation, and not what’s politically correct. My prayer is that the United States -- and the UK -- will wake up before it’s too late.
The Bible, which Graham has asserted that he follows, called for the genocide of non-believers in Numbers 21:2-3, Deuteronomy 20:17 and 1 Samuel 15:3.
Hosea 13:16 said that pregnant women should have their stomachs torn open by swords, while Deuteronomy 22:23-24 demanded the execution of virgins who are raped, if they didn't cry out while being attacked.
