Christian historian David Barton was on the American Family Association's "Today's Issues" radio show this week and claimed that President Obama had leaked secret intelligence about Israel seven times because that's what the Muslim Brotherhood would do.
Barton, whose last book, "The Jefferson Lies," was pulled from stores by the publisher because of historic inaccuracies, didn't name these seven instances (video below).
"Do you know that on seven separate occasions the Obama administration has publicly leaked to the media secret intelligence from Israel about what they were doing to stop terrorism?" Barton said, according to RightWingWatch.org. "On seven occasions, and four of them relate to what they're doing with Iran."
"And so, on seven occasions, he has leaked secret intelligence about what Israel is about to do in Iran or elsewhere and released that to the Muslim world," Barton added. "So I scratch my head and say, 'How can you do that to your closest ally, release their top-secret intelligence on what they're about to do?' And the answer is: Muslim Brotherhood would do it and so he does."
According to GoodAsYou.org, Barton is currently appearing in an anti-gay film, "Light Wins," produced by Christian activist Janet Porter.
In a trailer for the film, Barton claimed that Jesus' Great Commission was not just converting people to Christianity, but also teaching everything Jesus taught people.
Barton claimed that Jesus taught in Matthew 19 that marriage was a lifelong union between one man and one woman.
However, in Matthew 19, Jesus was actually addressing the issue of men divorcing their wives for the purpose of marrying more women.
