Video: Vice President Joe Biden Appears on 'Parks and Recreation'

Newly-reelected Vice President Joe Biden is becoming an actor — kind of.

Biden will appear on an upcoming episode of “Parks and Recreation,” playing — who else? — himself.

The cameo was filmed in July, when the show taped in Washington, D.C. for its season premiere.

The show has referenced Biden multiple times in the past, with Amy Poehler’s Leslie gushing about the crush she has on the politician.

In the brief scene airing on November 15, Biden and Poehler’s character “have a conversation where she does what you would imagine Leslie Knope would do when meeting Joe Biden, which is she loses control of herself a little bit,” says executive producer Michael Schur.

He reveals to Entertainment Weekly that getting Biden to agree to the appearance was “so much less difficult than we ever possibly imagined.”

“His staff really loves the show, and he apparently had watched the show with his family and his family liked it,” Schur says.
