Texas Governor and presidental candidate Rick Perry is one of the best known Texas A&M alumni (also known as the "Aggies"), having graduated in 1972 with a 2.4 grade point average in agriculture.
Recently, Texas A&M rival Rice University mocked Perry’s intelligence, telling a stadium full of cheering spectators: “Simon says run for president. The next time you go to the polls, ask yourself, ‘Is your candidate smarter than an Aggie?’”
Back in August, Perry was mocked by a North Texas School District to the tune of the 'Hee-Haw' TV show song 'Where Are You Tonight?' (begins at :35 on the video): "Where, Rick Perry, are you tonight? Why did you leave us here all alone? You promised us funding for all Texas children; but then you heard 'White House' and -- pfft -- you were gone."
