Newt Gingrich's second ex-wife Marianne Gingrich appeared in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Brian Ross and claimed her ex-husband wanted an open marriage, but she refused (video below).
According to Marianne Gingrich, Newt had an affair with future third wife Callista "in my bedroom in our apartment in Washington."
Marianne said: "And I just stared at him and he said, ''Callista doesn't care what I do.'' He wanted an open marriage and I refused."
She also claims that Newt began divorce proceedings shortly after she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
The full interview will air on ABC after tonight’s GOP Presidential debate in South Carolina.
Last year, in a written affidavit to the conservative FAMiLY Leader, Newt Gingrich promised to defend traditional marriage between one man and one woman.
