'The Daily Show' host Jon Stewart slammed Michigan's governor and the state's new 'right to work' law (video below), reports Mediaite.com.
Stewart recalled how Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder had described 'right-to-work' laws as a “divisive” a year ago, yet signed the “right-to-work” legislation into law only hours after it was passed by the Michigan House today.
Stewart said: “So it is really a right to work around the union for the corporation. It is one of those things that are actually named for the opposite of the thing they do, like strip bars call themselves gentlemen’s clubs or the TV network dedicated to making us stupider is called The Learning Channel or a TV show that only airs four days a week that calls itself a Daily Show.”
