Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not running for president, but she can't resist playing politics -- a favorite game of her and her husband. During a visit to Afghanistan she mocked GOP candidate Herman Cain.
Earlier this month Cain admitted he doesn't know the name of every foreign leader, saying knowing the leader of “small insignificant states around the world” is not necessary for a U.S. president. He added that he probably wouldn't know the name of the leader of "Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan.”
Well, during a photo op on Thursday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai asked Clinton about this. According to ABC News, this was the exchange:
Clinton: “He’s a former pizza company owner.”
Karzai: “Is he that.”
Clinton: “Oh yeah, he started something called Godfather's pizza.”
Karzai: “Yes, I see, I see.”
Clinton then turned to U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker and mimicked Cain.
Clinton: “The president was saying he saw a news clip about how Mr. Cain had said, ‘I don’t even know the names of all these presidents of all these countries,’ you know, like, whatever.”
Karzai: “That wasn’t right, but anyway, that’s how politics are.”
