The Family Research Council is organizing the 'Repeal and Replace McCaskill Tour' to support Rep. Todd Akin’s campaign for U.S. Senate in Missouri against Sen. Claire McCaskill.
Rep. Akin got into hot water earlier this year when he claimed that women who are victims of "legitimate rape" can some how "shut down" and prevent a pregnancy.
The bus tour will feature Family Research Council President Tony Perkins and Fox News host Mike Huckabee, as well as far right extremists Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly and Pastor Stephen Broden, reports RightWingWatch.org.
Phyllis Schlafly said in a March 2007 speech at Bates College that wives could not be raped: "By getting married, the woman has consented to sex, and I don't think you can call it rape."
Pastor Broden has said that violent revolution "was on the table" against the Obama administration (video below).
