Undercover Video Exposes Obamacare Navigators Recommending Lying On Applications (Video)

A new video released by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas on Nov. 11 exposed Obamacare navigators in Dallas counseling a man to lie on his application in order to get higher subsidies and lower premiums.

According to Townhall.com, the video shows Obamacare navigators telling a Project Veritas undercover investigator to not report his income to the IRS in order to avoid being audited and remain qualified for HHS grants.

“You’re supposed to file a percentage of it,” the navigator, known as “Mrs. Dorothy” in the video, said. “Don’t get yourself in trouble by declaring it now.”

The navigators were later shown telling a Project Veritas investigator to lie about being a smoker in order to receive lower health insurance premium.

“They have — I don’t know where it said it says something about if you smoke or something like that, but I don’t really smoke,” the Project Veritas staffer says.

“You lie because your premiums will be higher,” an Obamacare navigator “assistant” said in response.

“Don’t tell them that,” Obamacare navigator “Sabrina Hill” interrupted.

“I always lie on mine,” the same Obamacare navigator assistant later adds.

The Obamacare navigators have not been properly vetted by Enroll America, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, according to Twitchy.com. Enroll America has also been described as “a grassroots organization dedicated to turning Texas blue.”

The Blaze reports that the video is edited heavily and makes use of deceptive tactics to catch the navigators provide astonishing advice.
