'Truther' Group Runs Video of 9/11 Building Collapsing on New York City Billboard

An organization called Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth has erected a giant flashing neon billboard in Times Square in New York City that claims the World Trade Center 7 (WTC 7) building "came down in a classic controlled demolition" after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The billboard loops the collapse of WTC 7 and the 9/11 "truther" message every 15 seconds (video below).

“The government says fire brought it down, but anyone who watches the video can see otherwise," claims the bizarre ad, notes RawStory.com.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth states on their website:

For the vast majority of viewers, this will be the first time they see the destruction of the third skyscraper... The billboard's message will reach 100,000 people daily — for a total of 3 million viewings from September 8th to October 5th.

In reality, the collapse of WTC 7 has been shown on TV numerous times over the past 13 years and can be viewed on the Internet at anytime.

According to Popular Mechanics, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) stated in 2008 that debris from WTC 1, which was hit by an airplane during the 9/11 terrorist attack, started fires on about 10 floors of WTC 7, which was not hit by a plane. Because the fires in WTC 7 went on for seven hours, the building eventually collapsed.
