Trump Gives One-Page Health Summary To Dr. Oz

After two days of conflicting reports, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump revealed a one-page summary of his recent physical exam during a taping of Dr. Mehmet Oz's TV show on Sept. 14, which will be aired on Sept. 15.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade reported on Sept. 13 that Trump would be handing over his medical records to Oz for the show, notes Media Matters.

The Trump campaign then told reporters on Sept. 14 that Trump's medical records would not be part of his interview with Oz, reports Mediaite.com.

Bloomberg Politics reporter Jennifer Jacobs tweeted: "Trump will tape his interview with Dr. Oz at an ABC Studio in NYC today at 10 am. but it won't be on his medical reports or recent physical."

Katy Tur of NBC News tweeted: "Trump wont release medical records or results of his physical on Dr Oz. Camp now says med info coming out 'soon.' Monday it was 'this week.'"

CNN reports that a Trump campaign spokeswoman said that Trump did reveal a one-page summary of his exam to Oz during the show.

Trump's physical exam was conducted by his longtime physician, Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, who previously claimed in a one-page summary from December 2015 that Trump would be the healthiest president ever elected.

"When the numbers come in, I'll be releasing very, very specific numbers," Trump promised earlier in the week.

An Oz show audience member told CNN that Trump announced that he wanted to lose about 15 pounds, while several audience members recalled that Trump said he does not exercise.

Kelly Platt, a pharmacist intern and Trump supporter, told CNN that Oz found no health issues, per Bernstein's one-page summary, and that Trump's cholesterol was reduced to a good level after being treated with a medication to lower it.

The GOP candidate and Oz reportedly talked about the Zika virus, and Trump's proposed policies regarding child care.
