During an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said it would be an “amazing thing” if he and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ran against each other. He also noted that he's good at bringing people together.
“It's going to be interesting to see what happens," Trumps said during the interview on Jan. 11, according to CNN Money. "I think it's going to be one of the most interesting races."
“A poll came out, if I win [the Republican nomination] and she wins [the Democratic nomination], it's going to be the largest voter turnout in the history of the country," he added.
That potential record turnout, Trump said, would be an “amazing thing” because “people don’t vote that much in this country.”
Trump was also given a mock job interview during his conversation with host Jimmy Fallon, in which he described his greatest strength as being able to bring people together.
“A lot of people would say it’s the exact opposite, but I really unify people,” he said, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“I’ve always gotten along with people," he added. "I’ll get along with Democrats, with Republicans, with liberals, with conservatives. That’s something we need in this country.”
