Trump Demands Apology, Clinton Says 'Hell No!'

Republican presidential candidate demanded an apology from the Hillary Clinton campaign following the former Secretary of State’s assertion that he is a recruiting tool for the Islamic State group. Her camp’s reply? “Hell no.”

During the Dec. 19 Democratic debate, current frontrunner Hillary Clinton said that Trump was “ISIS’ best recruiter,” blasting the GOP front-runner’s derogatory language towards Muslims and his call to ban them from entering the U.S., according to FOX News.

“They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists,” Clinton added.

Trump was livid over the accusation, saying that “She’s a liar!”

“I will demand an apology from Hillary,” said Trump on Dec. 21, according to CNN. “I will demand an apology from Hillary, she should apologize. She lies about emails, she lies about Whitewater, she lies about everything. She will be a disaster as President of the U.S.”

The Clinton camp responded that same day, making it clear they have no intention of making nice with Trump.

“Hell no,” said her spokesman Brian Fallon. “Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists.”

Trump has fired verbal arrows at Clinton as well, making the accusation that she “killed hundreds of thousands of people” while she was Secretary of State, according to Politico.

“She was truly, if not ‘the,’ one of the worst secretary of states in the history of the country,” Trump said on Dec. 13. “She talks about me being dangerous. She’s killed hundreds of thousands of people with her stupidity.”

It remains doubtful that the two current front-runners of both parties will be apologizing to each other anytime soon.
