'Truckers for the Constitution' Plan to Block D.C. Beltway, Arrest Politicians

A group calling itself “Truckers for the Constitution” plans to block the I-495 beltway in Washington, D.C. and arrest politicians on Friday.

The group claims that President Obama committed “treason” for allegedly sending weapons to Al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria.

Two Members of Congress who supported Obama on Syria, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), will supposedly be “arrested” by the truckers.

“We are not going to ask for impeachment,” the group’s organizer Earl Conlon told U.S. News & World Report. “We are coming whether they like it or not. We’re not asking for impeachment, we’re asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violated their oath of office.”

“We want these people arrested, and we’re coming in with the grand jury to do it,” Conlon added. “We are going to ask the law enforcement to uphold their constitutional oath and make these arrests. If they refuse to do it, by the power of the people of the United States and the people’s grand jury, they don’t want to do it, we will ... We the people will find a way.”

Truckers for the Constitution also plans to circle the beltway “three lanes deep,” but will keep the left lane open for emergency vehicles.

The truckers will only “allow” cars to pass if they have “T2SDA,” an acronym for the event’s original name, “Truckers to Shut Down America,” written on their vehicle.

If police try to interfere, Truckers for the Constitution promises to set up a three-lane roadblock.

Truckers for the Constitution has already suffered their own roadblock when Twitter pulled down their page. Their Facebook page still exists with over 50,000 “likes.”

Joining the angry group will be another angry group, “Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment,” which plans to line the truckers’ route into Washington, D.C. with flags during the Oct. 11-13 event.

“We are going to be out on the overpasses and at truck stops, encouraging the truckers to head to D.C. to join in with the others,” Overpasses Founder James Neighbors told the conspiracy website World Net Daily. “They, in exchange, are encouraging their families who are at home to join us on the overpasses.”

UPDATE: Zeeda Andrews, one of the co-organizers for the "Truckers for the Constitution" event, compared President Obama to the late Al Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden.
