Texas Voted On Seceding From U.S.

Texas votes on seceding from the Union. Last Friday the Texas GOP voted on a motion to add secession to their ballot. After hours of debate, the motion was shut down. This is the farthest talks of secession have gone since the Civil War. It was just two votes shy of moving to a 4,000delegate floor vote. A recent poll suggests 25% of Texans would vote to secede if given the opportunity. Texas holds 38 delegates when it comes to the presidential race and has swung right for over 20 years. If they seceded, it could prove disastrous for the Republican party in America.
