Texas Police Chief Asks People Buy Guns To Stop Muslim Terrorists, Warns Obama (Video)

Hughes Springs, Texas, Police Chief Randy Kennedy posted a video (below) on Dec. 6 urging people to arm themselves in his tiny town of 1,766 residents from Muslim terrorists. Kennedy also issued a warning to President Obama.

After Obama laid out a detailed plan in his Oval Office address about combating terrorism abroad and in the U.S. on Dec. 6, Kennedy said: "I watched President Obama tonight and heard what he had to say about confronting terrorism. And I didn't find his words encouraging at all. I know that our military will do the right thing and will do what is necessary to protect us."

Kennedy failed to mention that the U.S. military is under the direction of President Obama, who is the Commander-in-Chief.

"But as far as the homeland is concerned, here within the United States of America, he has no effective plan, apparently," Kennedy said. "So, what I'm asking all my citizens to do is, all my law-abiding citizens, I'm asking you to help me and our fellow law enforcement officers by arming yourselves."

Kennedy called for residents to get concealed handgun permits to help law enforcement fight a potential terrorist attack in the town of less than 2,000 people.

"I know that there are a lot of law-abiding gun owners out there, and nobody who is a legal gun-owner has ever wanted to harm or kill anyone," Kennedy said. "But I know that we do not seek to harm or kill anyone, but nor are we gonna allow anyone to seek us out and kill us or do harm to our families.”

According to the FBI, the majority of homicide victims (53.8 percent) are killed by their family members, friends or someone they know.

"I don't want you running out of bullets, and I don't want you running out of guns before you're able pull our bacon out of the fire," Kennedy added.

Kennedy also painted President Obama as a potential enemy:

You are not our potentate, sir. You are our servant. And you were elected to serve and protect us first. And I suggest, sir, since you are a constitutional expert that you better review your history on the Constitution and understand that we are a free people and we are subject to no one other than the almighty God and Jesus Christ, the king.

As such sir, I strongly encourage you to trust the law-abiding American citizen because you won't fail in that, and we won't let you down. If you try to disarm us, sir, you will cause a revolution in this country to occur. So please revise your thinking because we are not your enemy, the law-abiding gun owner in this country.

However, President Obama had never advocated disarming anyone, and the Constitution never says that Americans are under the rule of almighty God and Jesus Christ.

"Yeah. I've gotten quite a bit of feedback," Kennedy told Longview News-Journal. "Apparently, I've struck a nerve. I said it, so I own it. And I'm not backing down from it ... The only thing these Jihadists understand is force. ... I don't want this area known as a soft target."

"I come from gun safety," Kennedy added. "Learn the weapon, learn how to operate it."

"So I want my citizens to be ready," Kennedy insisted. "And when a threat comes, I want them to minimize the amount of carnage that these insane people want to inflect upon us."

Kennedy also opposes Syrian refugees coming Texas, but did not provide any evidence that they are terrorists.

"I know there's Jihadists mixed in with the refugees," Kennedy stated. "You can't tell me they're not in there, because that would be a lie."
