Ted Nugent Posts Fake Video Of Clinton Shot (Video)

National Rifle Association (NRA) board member Ted Nugent posted a fake YouTube video (below) on his Facebook page on May 10. The video depicts Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton being shot by rival Democratic candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Along with the video, Nugent wrote: "I got your guncontrol right here bitch!"

MediaMatters.org notes the April 23 video uses a clip from a debate in which Clinton and Sanders were talking about gun violence.

As Clinton begins to speak about 90 Americans being killed every day in the U.S., the edited fake video shows Sanders grinning as he takes a handgun out of his pocket and shoots Clinton.

Several people on Nugent's Facebook page wrote positive comments about the imaginary murder:

"Hahahaha, good one. I am from Michigan, where if you don't have a gun we look at you sideways."

"Get em, Uncle Ted! These gun control people have lost their marbles. It's called a 2nd amendment for a reason. These brain dead control nuts need to bell rung real quick like."

"Lmao! We can only hope and pray....that we get to see karma kick all those morons on the left right square in the ass! Thanx for the chuckle, Uncle Ted! YOWZAA!!!!"

"You tell em Ted! The real Americans are tired of this crap!!"

According to the NRA website, at the organization's annual meeting, Nugent will be giving a speech entitled "2016 Election Do or Die for America and Freedom," which is promoted as follows:

Never before has the orchestrated threat against America, freedom and our sacred 2nd Amendment rights been more dangerous than in 2016. The Obama/Clinton liberal Democrat gang is maniacal in their attack on all things individual rights, truth, logic, commonsense and The American Way. Are there enough of us willing to do battle with these evil forces? We can and we must win this one.

MediaMatters.org adds, "In recent months, Nugent has used his Facebook page to promote anti-Semitic, racist, and misogynist commentary."
