Tea Party Groups Attack Republicans Who Voted to Fund U.S. Government (Video)

While most Americans are relieved that Congress voted to fund the U.S. government, the Tea Party Nation and The Tea Party Leadership Fund are furious.

Both groups are now attacking Republicans who voted to raise the debt ceiling, fund Obamacare (a U.S. law) and extend the Continuing Resolution (which funds the federal government).

According to RightWingWatch.org, the Tea Party Nation sent an email to its members and called on them to punish RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) for giving up the failed plan hatched by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and other tea partiers.

The Tea Party Nation stated:

In the next few months the leaders of the Tea Party movement as well as leaders of other liberty groups and smaller political parties need to meet and set a game plan. Here is that plan.

In every state where there is a RINO running for the Senate and certain establishment Republicans are running for reelection in the House, like John Boehner and Eric Cantor, conservatives need to agree on one challenger to support against the incumbent.

The Tea Party Nation also declares it will not support a RINO if he or she wins a primary:

If that challenger wins, then everyone supports the challenger in the November 2014 elections. If the challenger fails, then instead of grudgingly supporting the establishment Republican, we all then need to fall back to supporting an independent or a third party candidate who is worthy of support.

The Tea Party Leadership Fund recently released a video (below) that urges its members to stand up to the "latest RINO betrayal."

"The Tea Party and all conservatives are being betrayed by the Republican Party's real traitors again," says the video. "These traitors sold out America and voted to fund Obamacare, voted to raise the debt ceiling and voted to further expand government funding yet again. It's up to the Tea Party to hold these 87 House turncoats accountable, starting with Speaker John Boehner."
