Sen. Lindsey Graham Blames Russian Invasion of Ukraine on Obama, Benghazi (Video)

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) claims that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is actually President Obama’s fault because of his handling of the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in 2012.

Sen. Graham tweeted today, "It started with Benghazi. When you kill Americans and nobody pays a price, you invite this type of aggression. #Ukraine."

In reality, the Russian invasion occurred after former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was kicked out of office by his own people for reneging on a trade deal with the West and siding with Russia instead, noted New York Magazine.

Appearing on Fox News' "On The Record with Greta Van Susteren" yesterday, Sen. Graham blamed Obama again for Russian aggression in the Ukraine, reports MediaMatters.org (video below).

"It really, in many ways, started with Benghazi, when our consulate was overrun and our first ambassador was killed in thirty-something years in the line of duty," said Sen. Graham. "Three other brave Americans died and not one person has been held accountable. You're sending absolutely the wrong signal to our foes around the country."

Sarah Palin attacked President Obama on Fox News' "Hannity" last night and praised Putin (video below).

"People are looking at Putin as one who wrestles bears and drills for oil," swooned Palin. "They look at our president as one who wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates."

Back in the real world, CNN's Anderson Cooper reported today on the hundreds of Ukrainians who have been camping out in barricades, preparing to fight Putin's Russian forces (video below).
