Sarah Palin’s political action committee released a brand new video on Wednesday which appears to have been made with the sole intention of keeping the former half-term governor in the news. Titled Loaded for Bear, the clip is essentially a compilation of media personalities reporting on her in various ways.
Because Palin never really accomplished a whole lot politically beyond being a part of John McCain’s losing presidential ticket, most of the things mentioned about her in the video are in regards to things she has said, not things she has done.
“Sarah Palin stole the show at this weekend’s CPAC convention,” the video begins. “She is a superstar and she’s used that to get people elected.”
“She still knows how to fire up the conservative faithful,” another television anchor says.
You get the point.
Tea Party favorite, Sen. Ted Cruz, also also makes a guest appearance – but only to praise the main character.
“She is fearless, she is principled, she can pick winners,” Cruz said in his CPAC introduction. “Sarah Palin jumped in early and supported Rand Paul. She supported Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, Pat Toomey, Nikki Haley, Deb Fischer, Jeff Flake and myself.”
All in all, it’s basically two minutes and change of Palin talking, interspersed with people talking about Palin talking.
