Sarah Palin Helps Raise $50,000 For Hillary Clinton's Super PAC

Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has helped raise more than $50,000 for possible presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton's super PAC, Ready for Hillary. Speaking to conservatives at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Jan. 24, Palin commented on a series of issues, including the expected Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

"It's going to take more than a village to beat Hillary," Palin said. "I'm ready for Hillary. Are you coming?"

According to The Huffington Post, the PAC used Palin's comments to email thousands of supporters, urging them to donate.

Ready for Hillary's executive director, Adam Parkhomenko, emailed this to donors: “By raising $25,000, Sarah officially qualifies as a co-chair of our National Finance Council. (We will wait until Sarah calls before officially adding her name to the list.)"

Palin also used a Ready for Hillary magnet in her speech to unite the crowd against Clinton. The PAC went on to use a photo of Palin holding the magnet to show she supported Clinton.

Palin, who has said she is considering a run for president, certainly did not intend to elicit pro-Clinton commentary.
