Sarah Palin Calls for Obama’s Impeachment: If 'He’s Not Impeachable, Then No One Is'

Sarah Palin has accused President Obama of a slew of faults, not least of which is a “purposeful dereliction of duty.”

Her litany of complaints against Obama also included health care, executive orders and “unsustainably generous welfare-state programs.”

She has even gone so far as to call for Obama’s impeachment.

“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president,” Palin wrote in a column, which was published on Tuesday.

The former governor of Alaska even suggested that Obama has deliberately left the U.S.-Mexico border unsecured.

She likened his actions to that of an abusive relationship, writing, “His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas.’

“Without borders, there is no nation,” she added. “Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept.”

This is not the first time Palin has mentioned the possible impeachment of the current president.

Last year, she suggested that Obama could be impeached over the debt limit. In Tuesday’s article, she echoed those same thoughts, arguing that Obama’s “rewarding of lawlessness” has caused “irreparable harm.”

“It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment,” Palin wrote.

She went on to claim that the “many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”
