Former half-term Alaska Governor and current Fox News personality Sarah Palin recently slammed fellow Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
During an interview with Inside Edition on Tuesday, Palin stated, “I just don’t know all the information out there, but it’s hard to be the CEO of an organization and not know what the closest people to you are up to.”
“I know when I was mayor and manager of this city and then governor of the state, certainly you know what your top aides are up to,” claimed Palin, reports TalkingPointsMemo.com.
However, Palin failed to mention the "Troopergate" scandal when she was governor of Alaska.
A 263-page report released in 2008, stated that Palin abused her power as governor when she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monega, noted ABC News.
Monega claimed that he was fired because he refused to take action against Mike Wooten, a state trooper who was going through a divorce with Palin's sister.
According to Politico.com, Palin also lectured Gov. Christie, "I just want to make sure that every politician… that you don’t blow it, and you blow it if you ever try to hide anything. Whatever’s hidden, eventually light shines upon it, and I just hope that truth is being told right now.”
