Pro-Bin Laden Muslims Clash with Cops at U.S. Embassy in London

London supporters of al Qaeda have gathered at the U.S. embassy in the English capital and are staging a mock funeral for Osama Bin Laden.

The crowd of hundreds carried signs bearing slogans like "Islam Will Dominate the World," and "Jihad: To Defend The Muslims," and taunted police officers who attempted to restrain them, according to the Daily Mail.

The funeral protest was organized by the controversial Muslim leader Anjem Choudary, a member of the extremist group Muslims Against Crusades. He was the leader of outlawed Muslim organization al-Muhajiroun, which was banned in Britain in 2000 amid fears it was sparking international terrorism.

Protesters called the U.S. "murderers" and demanded the return of Osama bin Laden's body to his family.

Meanwhile, opposing protesters flew the English flag and carried posters featuring bin Laden's face with the words "Terrorists Burn in Hell."

Like the U.S., Britain is on high terror alert following the death of Bin Laden; Anjem Choudary has warned that there may be a terrorist attack in London.
