Former FBI Director James Comey went viral during his testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee for what many praised as a perfect poker face.

The face, otherwise known as "resting Comey face," sparked internet memes and tweets immediately after the hearing began, reports Mashable.

"Comey's face with 20+ cameras in front of him at the start of the hearing," one Twitter user wrote.

"James Comey's poker face is on point. Can't read any emotions on that face," another added.

Others took a more humorous approach in their posts, with one Twitter user even quoting Lady Gaga's "Poker Face."

"Russian Roulette is not the same without a gun. And baby when it's love, if it's not rough it isn't fun. P-p-poker face, my my poker face," one user wrote.

"Now that's a poker face. Not even a hint of a smile on James Comey's face. It's. About. To Go. Down," another wrote.

Corey's revelations regarding President Donald Trump and the alleged collusion with Russia was consistent with behavior that he has shown his entire life, some close colleagues told Politico.

"I've known him for a long time and he's no different in his job than when I knew him," George Arzt, former reporter and spokesman for former New York Mayor Ed Koch, said. "He never knew boundaries. He was tutored by Roy Cohn, the famous New York lawyer, who never knew boundaries."

He has repeatedly throughout his career tried to intervene with law enforcement, regulators and take matters into his own hands that he knew other people didn't do," biographer Timothy O'Brien said.

"The difference between now and then is that he wasn't president then. He has never been subjected to this broad of a variety of legal and ethical norms."

Meanwhile, Trump continued to draw criticism for withdrawing from the Paris climate accord -- including from North Korea, who called it "short sighted and silly."

In a statement to the Korean Central News Agency, the communist country said that "global warming is one of the gravest challenges humankind is facing today" and Trump's decision comes at "the cost of the entire world."

"The selfish act of the US does not only have grave consequences for the international efforts to protect the environment, but poses great danger to other areas as well," the statement read, The Independent reported.

The U.S., the statement read, needed to realize that "the protection of the global environment is in their own interests."

"This is the height of egotism and moral vacuum seeking only their own well-being at the cost of the entire planet," the statement continued.
