GOP challenger Mitt Romney has prepared one speech for tonight, an 1,118-word victory speech, but has yet to put together a concession speech.
Romney told the Associated Press today: “I feel like we put it all on the field. We left nothing in the locker room. We fought to the very end, and I think that’s why we’ll be successful."
In contrast, President Obama told FOX31 that he had prepared a victory speech and a concession speech: “You always have two speeches prepared because you can’t take anything for granted."
“This is a usual practice of mine. I just like to talk to folks directly and encourage them to vote before polls close. I’m a big believer that, whoever you’re voting for, this is one of the most important obligations we have as citizens."
