Sarah Palin and Donald Trump may want to stop getting estimates for a move to the White House -- they will never live there, if the results of a new poll are to be believed.
According to a report from Yahoo! News, a survey from Quinnipiac University found 58% of registered voters said they "would never vote" for either reality star for president.
This particular poll was designed to measure "enthusiasm" for potential Republican candidates.
Though 15 percent of respondents indicated they are enthusiastic about Palin, only 24 percent said they would consider voting for her. Trump received a 9 percent enthusiasm rating and a 26 percent rating on whether individuals would vote for him.
"Sarah Palin and Donald Trump suffer from the reality that, as our mothers told us, 'You never get a second chance to make a first impression,'" said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Polling Institute said in his analysis.
Mitt Romney did the best in the poll, with 15% saying they are enthusiastic about him and 38% saying they would "consider voting for him." Mike Huckabee was second -- 13% in enthusiasm, 34% might vote for him.
"Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are in the best shape," said Brown.
However, Romney and Huckabee should not count on a White House mailing address either -- support for "don't know" is just as strong as for Romney and Huckabee.
