Police Report Gives Details About Sarah Palin's Family Brawl

Anchorage, Alaska, police released their report of the alleged brawl involving former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's family on Sept. 6.

According to the police report, the Palin family attended a birthday party at the home of Korey Klingenmeyer.

Witnesses at the party told police there were two fights involving between Track and Todd Palin, and Bristol Palin, reports the Alaska Dispatch News.

Anchorage Police Officers John Daily and Ruth Adol say when they arrived at the house they saw Todd, Track and Willow Palin confront Klingenmeyer outside his home.

"Todd Palin came walking back to the driveway confronting Corey (sic) asking him if he called his daughter a 'bitch,'" one officer wrote in the report, notes Talking Points Memo. "Willow Palin walked up and also got involved flipping Corey off and getting loud. We eventually separated everyone and the Palin family ended up leaving."

“[Track] acted belligerent at first, but I was able to get him to step out of the car,” Anchorage Police Officer Justin Blake noted in the police report. "He came out of the car to talk and was in the presence of his father, Todd Palin, mother, Sarah Palin, and he identified himself as Track Palin."

Witness Matthew McKenna claimed that he and Todd witnessed a man named Steven Lebida get punched. McKenna told police that he and Todd tried to help, but a group of men went after Todd, which caused Track to join the melee.

McKenna claimed he later witnessed an “out of control” Bristol punch Klingenmeyer in the face several times.

Klingenmeyer stated he was the one who asked Bristol to leave his property, but she responded, “Who the f--- are you?” she and promised to “kick his ass.”

“[Klingenmeyer] says then that she hits him in the face," Officer Daily wrote in the police report. "He says he then tells her to hit him again if it makes her feel better and she does. He says he lets her hit him 5-6 times in the face and that she was hitting pretty hard. After about the sixth punch he grabbed her fist as she punched again and he pushed back and she falls down. He says she gets up and tries to punch him again and he grabs her fist again and pushes her away and she falls down again."

Klingenmeyer claims that Track and another man started swinging at him.

“A fight broke out and the Palins ended up losing. [Klingenmeyer] said after it was over that Bristol came up and tried to hit him again but he didn’t let her,” Officer Daily wrote in the report.

Officer Daily also wrote that Bristol appeared to be “heavily intoxicated and upset.”

"[Bristol] stated she didn't know who Corey (sic) was and then said that Korey had drug her across the lawn by her legs and was calling her a c--- and a slut," said the report.

“[Klingenmeyer was] angry that the Palins had showed up and were causing the problems,” but didn't file charges, according to the police report.

Klingenmeyer and Mark McKenna told police there was video of the brawl, but officers never found it.
