According to several online polls, Donald Trump was the winner of the third Republican presidential debate.
Polls from Time Magazine, Drudge Report and CNBC — the host of the debate — showed Trump winning overwhelmingly over his GOP opponents. Each survey from these news outlets are online, and they are continuing to accept votes. Thus, the numbers reported below are the results of each poll at the time of this writing, and they are subject to change.
The Drudge Report poll shows Trump getting 49.61 percent of the vote, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas coming in second at 24.35 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida is currently in third place with 12.07 percent.
The survey from Time Magazine has Trump leading with 45 percent of the vote, and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida following with 21 percent. Cruz is in third place with 9 percent.
The CNBC poll also shows Trump winning, with 45.9 percent of the vote. Cruz is the runner-up in the network’s poll, with 19.83 percent of the vote, and Rubio is in third place with 15.98 percent.
Trump acknowledged his victory on Twitter following the Oct. 28 debate.
“Thanks everyone — they all said I won the debate,” he wrote. “Even won the @CNBC poll!”
