Last night, during the third presidential debate, Republican challenger Romney claimed that the U.S. had fewer ships in its navy since the 1916.
Pres. Obama replied with a zinger: “You mention the Navy, for example, and the fact that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets.”
After the one-liner was delivered, the Obama campaign sought to capitalize on the president's jab at Romney by purchasing the website cavalrymenforromney.com.
This morning the web site was up and running. The splash page features a picture of an archaic solider holding a Romney sign. Inside the website, the Obama campaign touts the differences between the president and Romney.
