North Korea Warns of Nuclear War

North Korea's communist regime is warning of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula while vowing to step up its atomic bomb-making program in defiance of new U.N. sanctions, according to the Associated Press.

Much of the blame, however, was pointed at the United States. The Tongbil Sinbo newspaper said that North Korea is "completely within the range of U.S. nuclear attack" thanks to the "1,000 nuclear weapons in South Korea ready to strike."
