MSNBC's Toure Accuses Mitt Romney of 'Niggerization' of Obama, Romney Calls NBC News Pres.

On MSNBC’s The Cycle, on Thursday, co-host Krystal Ball and Toure, with their panel, debated Mitt Romney‘s statement that President Obama should “take his campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago" (video below).

Romney made the statement in response to Vice President Joe Biden‘s “put y'all back in chains” comments earlier this week.

Co-host Toure said of Romney's response: “That really bothered me. You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”

“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is niggerization. You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”

In response, the Romney campaign told that “the campaign is currently reaching out to NBC News President Steve Capus to discuss the matter.”
