Melania And Barron Trump Shop While Thousands Protest

First Lady Melania Trump and 10-year-old Barron were seen running errands in New York despite protests all around the city over President Donald Trump's controversial executive orders.

The first family was protected by four Secret Service vehicles as they made their way toward the Upper East Side for an appointment, the Daily Mail reported. They appeared unfazed by the many protests going on throughout the city in response to Donald's executive orders.

On Jan. 28, thousands of demonstrators marched across the city, with several protesters gathering outside of JFK Airport. The Rally Against Hate was a protest against the president's executive order to deny entry into the U.S. to anyone from seven Muslim-majority countries, even if they have a green card.

The demonstrations continued through Jan. 30. New York medical students staged a "die-in" to protest against the president's plans to repeal Obamacare, and hundreds more gathered in the Lower East Side to continue the protest against the "Muslim ban."

Despite all the protests, Melania and Barron ran errands on Jan. 30. Donald said his wife and youngest son will stay in New York until Barron finishes school in June.

According to sources at the New York Post, Donald's presidential campaign had been "difficult" for Barron. Melania told People magazine she spent a lot of time with Barron in the spring while her husband was on the campaign trail.

Melania and Barron will be flying to the Florida over the weekend to meet up with Donald at the "Winter White House" of Mar-a-Lago.
