First lady Melania Trump made a surprise trip back to her former home at Trump Tower in Manhattan on June 28, less than three weeks after moving to the White House.
At first, Melania had nothing on her face, but as soon as she realized she was being photographed, she put on large sunglasses as the paparazzi snapped photos of her leaving Trump Tower at about 2 p.m. and getting into an SUV while escorted by Secret Service members, reports the Daily Mail.
She was alone for the trip and not accompanied by her son, Barron Trump.
Mother and son finally moved into the White House on June 11, having broken with tradition by spending the first five months living separately from her husband and Barron's father, President Donald Trump, so Barron could finish school in Manhattan, reported the Los Angeles Times.
The move was confirmed by the first lady's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, who tweeted: "It's official! [Melania] & Barron have made the move to DC!"
It has been announced that Barron will attend St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, beginning in the fall.
On June 23, the first lady gave her first major interview since her husband was sworn into office in January. She told Ainsley Earhardt of "Fox & Friends" she does not miss living in Manhattan, her home for the past two decades.
"I'm so busy and we're doing so many great stuff. So it's really special place and I love it here," said the Slovenia-born first lady.
She became a permanent resident of the United States in 2001, and obtained her citizenship 5 years later after marrying Donald Trump.
As for Barron's opinion of his new home, she said: "We are enjoying it very much. "He loves it, yes all settled. He loves it here."
When photos of the first lady wearing a form-fitting blue dress during the June 19 White House visit by Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela, it sparked online rumors that she might be pregnant, reported The Inquisitr at the time.
In the photos, she is seen wearing a $1,695 blue dress from the Michael Kors Collection Pre-Fall 2017 lineup.
Google searches for the phrase "Melania Trump belly" increased more than 4,000 percent, according Google Trends.
The search phrase "Is Melania Trump pregnant?" increased 1,000 percent, and "Melania Trump blue dress" went up 750 percent, as did "Melania pregnant now."
In addition to the pregnancy rumors swirling around the first lady, The Inquisitr reports that the phrase "Melania boyfriend" is also on the rise, according to Twitter’s search engine.
In a May 21 twitter post, the self-described "former Clinton staffer" Claude Taylor claimed that divorce papers had already been filed, but the divorce was scrapped after Mr. Trump won the election unexpectedly, reported The Inquisitr.
Taylor's tweet went viral, with more than 7,000 likes and nearly 4,000 retweets.
The first lady's spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, responded to the allegation by calling "obviously … absolutely false."
